We are excited to see the new Bill Noble Park

March 10, 2023

As I look back, I remember before being married nights of playing tennis at Moncrief park, as I have always called it. I also remember Sunday afternoon football games with friends from church. After my first child, I remember long days of chasing my oldest to the giant barney slide, birthday parties at the pavilion, and private tennis lessons for her in later years. Life moved on, and the splash pad park was our new destination for my other two children. The parks and rec in Gardendale and Fultondale have good family memories for my family, as I am sure they do yours.

Parks and Rec are an essential part of a community.

Great communities have great parks and recreation areas. It shows an investment in not just the children but also the family. So even though I will not be spending my days or nights at this park, I am very grateful for this city leadership that has invested in the growth of Gardendale. Thank you for all the hard work. We put together this quick video to show a few park highlights.

The Grand Opening is tomorrow, so don’t miss it!
