GARDENDALE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE APRIL LUNCHEON – STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS
The Gardendale Chamber of Commerce is hosting its April Chamber Luncheon where Mayor Stan Hogeland will present his State of the City address to those in attendance and via Facebook live broadcast. He will share about the wonderful things currently happening and in store for our community—restaurants coming, development of the baseball complex, and more.
The event will be held at the Gardendale Civic Center (857 Main Street – Gardendale, Alabama 35071) on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Lunch will be served from 11:30 – 11:50, and at 11:50 the program will start.
Last Year’s State of the City Address
- In 2020 Revenue was up 5% even with covid.
- Apartments on Odum scheduled to open
- Snow Rogers elementary tornado shelter
- Brand new synthetic turf on GHS football field
- The city gave 250k to local schools
- Remodeled Racetrac opened
- Marriot Springhill suites opened
- Almost 250 new homes were built in 2020
- New walking trail around city hall and new ADA compliant sidewalks on Main Street
- New Youth Recreation Complex to be built
- Restaurants are on the way.

Along with that saying you can hear Mayor Hogeland saying “Greater things are yet to be done in this city”. One saying shows the vision and faith of what is in store for Gardendale.
