Warrior elementary students are enjoying their new school. Last March, the first day of classes saw teachers and students smiling at the beautiful new multi-million dollar facility that serves grades kindergarten through 5 grades. The former Warrior elementary school had been a high school and needed upgrading.
A Number of Upgrades.
The new school, along with larger classrooms, also provides enough room to incorporate a rezoning of students from Bryan Elementary. The 90,000 sq foot building has a capacity of 650 and was designed by a Studio 2H Design Architect. Along with the new building, each classroom is provided 25 Chromebooks, with a teacher desktop and interactive display per classroom.

Severe Weather Shelter
Another feature of the new building is that it can double as a shelter during severe weather. The wings of the buildings can be cordoned off so that safety and meeting the weather codes will be covered.
