CrossFit Gardendale, located at 749 Main Street in Gardendale, has new owners and some innovative changes coming to this local gym.

Kenneth and Brooke Batson 

Gardendale residents and long-time CrossFit Gardendale members Kenneth and Brooke enjoyed their membership. They followed the program to stay healthy, exercise, and build strength. Kenneth even became a Crossfit coach, and his children attended the CFG Kids.

Recently they were excited to discover the Gardendale gym was for sale and decided to invest in the program and community.

Kenneth and Brooke have been married for 17 years and are long-time residents of Gardendale. They have two boys, Austin and Seth.

Kenneth has a construction company he opened in 2020, KAS Construction and Remodeling. His wife, Brooke, is a hair stylist at Salon Genesis in Warrior.

New owners, New equipment, New ideas, New you

Kenneth and Brooke see great things happening in their CrossFit Gardendale. Updated and new equipment will be coming, along with many new programs.

They want to fuel a new interest in fitness that advocates health and wellness. Where you train is less important than how you train and who you train with, they plan to make Gardendale’s Crossfit the one to be emulated. 

Community is another important aspect of their program. Gardendale is known for its strong community ties. Keeping the community healthy, supported, and fit is an important part of Gardendale’s gym..

CrossFit Gardendale is making plans to help the community in many different ways; they are planning to provide Christmas gifts for underprivileged local children at the elementary school, support local charities, offer a new membership program that offers three days a week at a much-discounted rate, teaching CrossFit for kids, and even offering a Winter camp week for kids ages 10-17 the week of December 19-23 and January 2-6th.

Crossfit has been around for over two decades. It started as a grassroots company and has become a call to all who care about fitness to get the car out of the garage and go work out. Community, health, fitness, and wanting to be the best that you can be are the goals they encourage.
