Britt Wood retired from Walmart after 30 years of working in retail. He managed stores, interacted with customers, and made workplace decisions. After retirement, he quickly discovered he missed retail. With a strong desire to return to work, tempered by a need to serve his community, he started researching business opportunities and hardware stores.
Choosing the Best Option
After doing research, Britt was drawn to Ace because Ace is flexible and provided freedom for the owner. Taking control, he formulated decisions on what to sell, at what price, and the best way to display merchandise.
He had the privilege to stock his store with what he desired to sell.
Ace of the South is not just tools and yard equipment. Walking through the doors, you will be amazed at the variety. Just about everything is available at Ace of The South, from sunglasses and clothes to plants and the Big Green Egg.
Serving the Community
Britt sees the store representing community service and taking care of his customers. He loves his community and feels the love is reciprocated.
Ace of the South is anything but your typical hardware store.
It’s not about numbers or dollars; it is about helping neighbors and living up to the motto of all Ace hardware stores, “ the helpful place.”
By providing personal service, quality products, and a convenient shopping experience, Ace of the South stands out from other stores in the area. Helping the customers is the most important thing the workers have to do today.
Shopping locally has never been so easy. Stop by and be amazed at the vast and varied items on the shelves; we at the North Jefferson Post hope to see you there.
