Last month, the North Jefferson Post was invited to attend the Jefferson County Mayor’s Association meeting at the Fultondale Event Center. The event saw Fultondale show how the new event center can be utilized. Casa Fiesta catered for the event as the Jefferson county mayors enjoyed a presentation from the Birmingham Water Works.
Hosting events while still improving the building.
There has been plenty of work on the building that has sat vacant for the past few years. As you can see, the venue is ready to be utilized, and the Mayors Association was the third event hosted there. The venue is slated to have three offices, four to five event rooms, and the main hall, one of the nicest in North Jefferson County. It also has an outside courtyard with picnic tables. Mayor Holcomb and the City of Fultondale are still working on the space, and it will only get better.
Pictures worth a thousand words.
The future of the Fultondale Event Center
There are a lot of possibilities, from business training classes, yearly events, birthday parties, weddings, etc. The space can easily handle corporate and social events. If you are having an event in the local area, this is a one-of-a-kind space you should look into. The past sore sight of a vacant retail building as you enter north Jefferson county is gone, and the city has pushed forward to utilize a beautiful building to better the city—what a great addition to our community. We genuinely love to see the momentum swinging in the right direction in our community!
As I look back, I remember before being married nights of playing tennis at Moncrief park, as I have always…
There are plenty of great traditions in North Jefferson county, from the amazing Gardendale parade to the Fultondale Christmas tree…
