Black Creek Dog Park
Fultondale Bark Park is a dog-friendly off-leash area in Fultondale, Alabama. The Park provides animals with a place to run free and enjoy the outdoors.
Fultondale approved the Park in 2011 with no controversy or debate.
Bark Park, when it opened, was the third municipal dog park in metro Birmingham. Other cities have followed suit, and more dog parks can now be found in North Jefferson County.
Bark Park welcomes dogs of all sizes, shapes, and breeds to join their owners for some fun at the free fenced-in area.
The Park is split into two sections, one for large dogs and another for small dogs.
It’s a great place for your pooch to meet other dogs and get plenty of exercises. The Park has doggy dress-up days throughout the year.
Barking at the Moon
The 11th annual Barking at the Moon Festival will be held on Sunday, October 30th, 2022, from 1-5 PM. The Park is at the intersection of Stouts Road and Fulton Road, behind the Children’s Park.
The Children’s Park will be used on that day for Vendor set up.
This festival is brought to the community annually by the City of Fultondale and The Friends of Fultondale Bark Park. It is a family and fido-friendly event.
All proceeds gathered go to upgrade and improve the dog park. The 2022 festival will feature many new and returning favorites to the Park.
The Bama Air Dogs will perform the Flying Fizbee Houndz show, plus there will be a Kids and Dog Costume Contest. There is no admission charge or fee for the contest.
